Bodegas Muga Rioja Reserva 2021 Wine Bar | Orange and Rose structured rather than heavyMuga is one of the last great traditionalists in Rioja a family house in Haro that still builds its own barrels in an on site cooperage and fines its wines with egg whites. The Reserva is their calling card, and 2021 is a benchmark vintage. It spends two years in oak and another in bottle before release, emerging polished but classic: the kind of Rioja that tastes like Rioja. Tempranillo leads, rounded out with Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano. Drink
