In 18K Gold, a white enamelled cross with green wreath in each quadrant, the obverse medallion featuring the inscription AL MERITO MILITARE, the reverse with superimposed swords bearing the inscription 1855 VE, measures 35. 7 mm (w) x 38. 7 mm (h), worn on replacement ribbon, minor enamel damage to reverse 3 oclock arm, medallions slightly loose, remains in extremely fine condition. Accompanied by a miniature in the same
